Privacy notice
Last updated 29 October 2026. This notice explains how DNA Supersystems handles personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Draft. The highlighted details are being confirmed and this notice is under legal review.
Who we are
The responsible party is [legal entity name and registration number], trading as DNA Supersystems, of [physical address]. Our Information Officer is [name], reachable at [email].
What this website collects
- This website has no forms. It sets no analytics or advertising cookies unless you choose "Allow" in the cookie notice, when Google Analytics and the Meta pixel measure visits and clicks.
- Our host processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site [name the host, e.g. Cloudflare].
When you book a call or buy a plan
Our booking calendar and order forms run on our platform. There we collect what you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number, your answers on the booking form and, when you buy, your payment details through our payment provider [name the payment provider]. We use them to hold your call, set up and bill your account, support you and, if you agree, send you updates.
Your customers' data
When your business loads its own customers' details into DNA Supersystems, you are the responsible party and we act as your operator under POPIA. We process that data only on your instructions, keep it secure and sign an operator agreement on request.
Why we process it
- To provide what you asked for and to run our contract with you (POPIA section 11(1)(b) and (f)).
- With your consent, to send you service updates. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as tax records.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with operators that help us deliver our services, under written agreements: our CRM and booking platform, our payment provider, our email and messaging providers and our website host [confirm the list of operators]. We do not sell personal information.
Information sent outside South Africa
Our platform provider stores data outside South Africa [confirm: e.g. in the United States]. We only use operators in countries or under agreements that give protection comparable to POPIA (section 72).
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as the law requires, then delete it [confirm retention periods].
Your rights
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its use for direct marketing. Contact our Information Officer. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Changes
We will post any change to this notice on this page with a new date.
